Call for Papers

  • Fill out the Call For Papers (download available here) with:
    • Abstract with no more than 300 words
    • Short bio of the speaker
    • High quality photo of the speaker
  • All abstracts must be in English
  • Translation services between Portuguese and/or English will be available
  • Entrance in the the conference is complimentary to all our speakers

 

The eID Conference Program Committee is looking for papers from potential speakers about the following topics:

  • ePassports & eID Cards
    • ID cards for facilitating border crossing: European and North American use cases
    • Implementation of eResident permits and eID cards in the EU and US
    • Governmental, Enterprise and Social Initiatives on eID Schemes, eSignatures
    • Border Control, eGates, ESTA & eVISA Programs in US and Worldwide leveraging biometrics
    • Case Studies on technology standards (ETSI, ISO etc.)
  • Multi-application eIDs
    • Governance of IDs in an electronic and mobile world
    • The state of eID and mobile eID programs worldwide
    • Implementation of eDriving License, eCar Registration, and eTaxi License programs
    • eDriving License and Multi-application eID schemes and interoperability
    • Use cases for multi-application eIDs
  • Document Identity Security & Protection of the integrity of identification of Documents
    • eID cards: technology of the past and/or of the future
    • Integration of security features in the new world of IDs that are both electronic and physical
    • Latest counterfeiting of eID and ePassports
    • The role of eIDs in Identity Assurance and Cyber Security
    • Identification, Processes and Technologies: Techniques for thwarting counterfeits
    • Internet of Things: Authenticity of ID information – People and Processes

All presentations must be strictly non-commercial and the Program Committee will welcome welcome suggestions of topics that speakers feel qualified to address.
